Director of Communications & Training

As CEDAM’s Director of Communications & Training for the past six years, Emily ensures CEDAM and its members build influence around community economic development issues in Michigan. She engages with CEDAM's members by providing members with policy and program updates; promoting members' impact on their communities; developing capacity-building tools, and implementing CEDAM's signature Real Estate Development Boot Camp Training, equipping emerging developers with the tools needed to develop affordable housing in their communities. Emily received her Bachelor's Degree in professional writing from Michigan State University and currently lives in Detroit.
